2011 LENTON BRAE CABERNET MERLOT
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Very deep dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. Blackcurrant and mulberry top notes are followed by some spicy cedar and tobacco like characters as end notes. Medium weight the palate possesses generous yet elegant flavours of ripe mulberry and some blackcurrant with an overlay of spicy cedar and some cigar box like back palate characters. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained well integrated tannins. Medium to long mulberry, spicy cedar and cigar box aftertaste.
